  We recently received prompt service from Regency in Newcastle to measure built-in wardrobes for 3 rooms in our home. The rep was friendly, helpful and offered us a 10% discount if we were happy to wait until after Christmas. We declined the offer as we really needed these in before Christmas. The rep said that this would not be an issue. That’s where the customer service stopped!
  
  Acceptance emailed on the 21st November as per the direction from the rep. We called Regency on the 30th December after hearing no news to be told that they had lost our confirmation. They acknowledged receiving it but hadn’t acted on it. Today (Monday 2nd December), we have been told that they were sorry and that we would have to wait now. Nothing that they could do. I asked to speak to the Manager and had been told that the manager was already aware of the error and was refusing to attempt to correct their error. I was told that “you don’t need to speak to the manager as it won’t change”, I explained that I wanted a more positive resolution to the situation. I was then told “you know that retail is only a very small part of our business” and “the rep shouldn’t have promised you anything”.
  
  I can see why “Retail” is a small part of their business if this is the way they treat all of their customers! Very disappointing… and Yes I will be telling everyone not to use Regency.
